Kids Play International (KPI) is a non-profit organisation that uses sport as a catalyst to promote gender equity
in communities impacted by genocide. Now it is seeking a programme manager to join its team in Gatagara, Rwanda. Application deadline: 10 October
Job Description
KPI is looking for an on the ground programme manager to help oversee the day to day programme, provide incite and strategic direction for long-term programme development and model replication, develop and conduct continued coaches trainings, implement monitoring and evaluation tools and build in-country partnerships.
This may include the following:
- On site programme management, which may include directly running programme
- Model for long-term programme structure and replication
- Provide ongoing feedback, incite, analysis and direction to ensure continued programme improvement
- Assist with continued development and implementation of the curriculum
- Design, development and implementing a culturally appropriate coaches training clinics
- Identifying local staff to be hired and trained
- Design entry and exit strategy and orientation of participants and coaches
- On-going programme evaluation/metrics assessment
- Community development; building relationships with parents, schools, local government, U.S. Embassy, partnerships with other local NGO’s
- Outreach for sponsorship and grant opportunities to help sustain programme
- Maintain ongoing communication and relationships with partner schools, parents, community
- Maintain KPI Facebook, Instagram and Twitter as it pertains to programming
- Oversee and conduct all communication for sponsorship a child programme
